Pod Systems Or Disposable Vapes? Which Is The Best Device?

Pod vape systems and disposable vapes are both great choices for beginners as they are easy to use, relatively inexpensive and don’t require any preparation, filling or changing of coils and other components.

While there are many different types of vaping devices on the market, disposable and pod devices are some of the most convenient and travel-friendly options out there.

Compared to pen devices, another beginner-friendly option, pods and disposables are much easier to handle as they do not need to be filled or have any of their parts changed, such as the coil, which makes them a popular choice for on-the-go.

There are both advantages and disadvantages to both types of device which may make one option more suitable for your needs than the other.

Pod Devices

Pod devices are similar to pen devices as they can be recharged and the battery part of the device itself can be reused multiple times. The only difference is rather than having a tank which is filled, they have replaceable pods.

These often come pre-filled and are simply slotted into the top of the battery part of the device and there is no opening, filling and closing involved.

As these come pre-filled, they can also be used immediately as you do not need to wait for the coil to soak in liquid before use to prevent burning.

Pod devices often have a draw-activated start meaning there are no buttons and they simply work by being inhaled. This makes them great for on-the-go as they cannot be accidentally fired.

However, pod devices so still need to be charged therefore if you are caught out and about with a dead battery, you will be unable to use your device.

Disposable Devices

Disposable vapes are very similar to pod devices in that they too are draw-activated and do not require any buttons to be pressed.

These are also relatively inexpensive if bought as a one-off, as most supermarkets and stores carry them for £5 and under.

This makes them incredibly accessible and easy to come by, meaning if you are caught without your device you can easily find one in most supermarkets and corner shops.

Disposables come pre-filled with a pre-charged battery with a set amount of liquid within the device. They cannot be opened, refilled or recharged.

This makes them great for on-the-go and very convenient for those looking for something to start off with or travel with.

However, disposable vapes are disposable meaning they are a one-time-use product. This means they must be disposed of once they run out of liquid which can be wasteful.

Using disposables regularly can also be far more expensive than using other vaping devices as the cost per use is far greater.

While disposables are a fun and easy option, they are not the most economical choice in the long run.

Both devices are easy to use, portable and easily accessible and deciding which is best for you will depend purely on your personal wants and needs.
